The Jays were formed in 2016 when longtime musical colleagues and songwriting duo Madeline LaPorte and Tom LeBeau joined forces with AJ Del Negro on bass, and Tom Del Negro on guitar. The Jays draw inspiration from the Beatles and popular music from the fifties and sixties, as well as many years' combined experience performing in country, blues, jazz, and classic rock groups.
